Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, create a relaxing and welcoming environment for clients, and contribute to the overall success of our salon. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in nail artistry, customer service, and retail sales while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
  • Provide body waxing services as requested by clients, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols for all tools and workstations to ensure client safety
  • Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering personalized recommendations, and upselling retail products when appropriate
  • Educate clients on proper nail care and aftercare routines to promote healthy nails
  • Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and salon productivity
  • Assist with retail sales by promoting nail care products and other beauty items to clients

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Nail Technician with strong nail care skills and artistry
  • Knowledge of body waxing techniques and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients professionally and effectively
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a relaxing salon experience
  • Ability to uphold high standards of sanitation and safety in all procedures
  • Upselling skills to recommend additional services or retail products that meet client needs
  • Retail sales experience is a plus, demonstrating confidence in promoting products and services
  • Creative flair for nail design along with attention to detail in execution
