Rowe Rice and Canada Pension Plan Investments; technology venture capitalists Andreessen Horowitz, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, BOND Capital, and Standard Investments; and natural resources companies Equinor, BHP, and Mitsubishi.About The PositionIn the role of Field Operations Lead, you will plan and execute our field activities to meet our business objectives without causing harm to our people, our contractors and partners, or the communities and environments where we operate. You will report to our Field Operations Manager for North America, and also work closely with the COO, the leaders for our field programs, and other members of the operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the leader of field operations for 1-3 projects per year.This role will include primary responsibility for managing the Sudbury warehouse, requiring the individual to reside in Sudbury, Ontario and work from the warehouse office.Key Skills & CompetenciesCore capabilities aligned with the general responsibilities of a Field Operations Lead.Strong background in warehouse operations and inventory management.Primary AccountabilitiesLead planning for smaller field operations programs.Manage all warehouse operations in North America, including consolidation where appropriate.Function as a backup Field Operations Lead during peak execution periods (especially the summer) and at other times when additional resources are needed.Travel RequirementsTravel to remote operations sites and warehouse locations for inventory management.Estimated travel: 30–35% annually.Additional ResponsibilitiesOversee the rationalization of the Thunder Bay warehouse through thoughtful consolidation into the Sudbury warehouse and/or disposal.Assess and manage consolidation or disposal of the CSB warehouse if/when appropriate.KoBold Metals is an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
