Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 310S Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients to explain repairs and services. A solid understanding of diagnostic pathways and mechanical systems is essential.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using vehicle diagnostic scanners, schematics and technical manuals to determine necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed, including parts used and labor hours.
  • Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during repair processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.
  • Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during vehicle repairs or part replacements.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills.

Experience

  • Must possess 310S Certification in good standing.
  • Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must remain well organized and be able to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to produce accurate and quality work under tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
