The Colleges and DTI currently share one Student Information System (SIS), which is a module of the One Client Service Model (OCSM) system developed two decades ago by the Government of Saskatchewan. The Colleges have chosen to replace the OCSM system with an integrated solution known as Thesis Elements being implemented by third party contractor, 3D Solutions.
As the client, the Colleges and DTI are seeking Senior Change Management Consultant and Business Analyst who will report to the Project Manager. The Senior Change Management Consultant and Business Analyst will provide services to support the implementation process, starting with Great Plains College's implementation. The position is 100% remote, and it is expected that the consultant will work in alignment with the client's time zone to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
The SIS solution is being implemented as a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. Initial project planning has begun with testing phase anticipated to start early in 2026. The centralized project team will consist of a Project Manager, the Senior Business Analyst/Technical Lead and a Senior Change Management Consultant/Business Analyst. Each college will have a local project team that will receive guidance from the centralized project team. The implementation order beyond Great Plains College has not yet been determined.
