Field Sales Representative

This hybrid role gives you the best of both worlds. Spend three days a week on the road growing Tenaquip's presence—meeting customers, introducing our products, and uncovering new business. The other two days, you'll be at the branch supporting clients, tracking orders, coordinating shipments, and keeping operations running smoothly. A great fit if you love variety and staying connected to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Tenaquip products through door‑to‑door visits to Terrace, Kitimat, Smithers, and Prince Rupert.
- Identify new business opportunities and introduce Tenaquip to potential clients.
- Build awareness and trust by demonstrating products and sharing product knowledge.
- Log visit results, opportunities, and customer feedback in the CRM.
- Forward complex technical opportunities to the appropriate sales team.
- Support clients by resolving issues and answering inquiries.
- Track orders, coordinate shipments, and address delivery concerns.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, providing inside sales support.
- Maintain branch merchandising and promotional displays.
- Prepare weekly reports on sales activity, customer trends, and operational updates.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑first mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and balance field and branch responsibilities.
- Basic understanding of sales processes, customer service, and logistics coordination.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
- Clear written and verbal communication; listens actively and asks questions to ensure understanding.
- Strong time‑management and organizational habits; meets routine deadlines.
- Adaptable to new tasks and environments; open to feedback and willing to learn.
- Maintains a positive attitude and bounces back from routine challenges.
- Works well with others; supports team efforts and communicates respectfully.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (CSD) for preparing quotes.
