Position Overview

As a Cleaner / Housekeeper with First Class Property Services, you will be responsible for completing scheduled cleans at a variety of locations including commercial offices, rental turnovers (Airbnb & move-outs), and post-construction sites. You may work independently or as part of a team, depending on the job.

This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow cleaning standards consistently.

Key Responsibilities - Cleaning & Quality Standards

  • Perform high-quality cleaning services including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, garbage removal, and surface sanitization
  • Clean washrooms, kitchens, offices, common areas, residential units, and newly constructed spaces
  • Complete rental turnover cleans ensuring properties are guest-ready and meet checklist standards
  • Perform post-construction cleans, including dust removal, surface wipe-downs, and final detailing
  • Follow all job-specific checklists and company cleanliness standards
  • Refill consumables such as soap, paper towel, and garbage liners as required
  • Quality Inspections of rental units
  • Completion of proper in app documentation of cleans, quality inspections, and notes

Scheduling & Travel

  • Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts
  • Travel between multiple job sites throughout the day as required
  • Follow schedules and instructions provided by supervisors or through company systems

Equipment & Supplies

  • Safely use cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals
  • Maintain company equipment in clean and good working condition
  • Report low supplies, damaged tools, or safety concerns immediately

Communication & Reporting

  • Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding completed work or site issues
  • Report damages, access issues, missing items, or urgent concerns at any property
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an asset (training provided)
  • Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle are required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to scheduled hours
  • Comfortable working in commercial, residential, and construction environments

Working Conditions

  • Work at various commercial and residential locations throughout Winnipeg
  • Flexible scheduling based on job assignments (daytime, evening, and occasional weekends)
  • Mix of recurring clients and one-time or project-based cleans
  • Travel between job sites during shifts is required
