As a Business Analyst Intern, you will support the development of innovative Business Application solutions in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), for clients across various industries. You will help elicit and analyze business needs, contribute to solution design, and collaborate closely with both functional and technical team members. 

This internship provides a unique opportunity to build foundational consulting, business analysis, and technical skills and knowledge while exploring potential career paths within our team. 

What You Will Do 

• Serve as a key link between client business needs and Avanade's technical solutions, helping shape intuitive and impactful end user experiences across industries.  

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Functional Consultants, engaging with client stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and document needs.  

• Work with Avanade technical teams to translate business requirements into clear, user focused solution designs.  

• Contribute to project deliverables in alignment with Avanade methodologies, best practices, and quality standards.  

• Learn core business analysis and consulting techniques from experienced team members.  

• Support the enhancement of client experiences throughout the analysis, design, build, and testing stages of the solution lifecycle.

Skills required for consideration: 
 

Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, business analysis, information systems, or a related field, with strong interest in Business Applications; expected graduation between 2026 and

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business challenges and opportunities into clear requirements and actionable insights.  

Creative thinker who can approach business problems with innovative ideas and user centric perspectives.  

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in highly collaborative, cross functional teams. 

Exposure to Microsoft technologies (e.g., Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Excel, Teams) or similar business application tools.  

Interest in Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies commonly used across project teams.  

Passion for technology and enthusiasm for how digital solutions can modernize business processes and enhance customer experiences.  

Proven leadership experience in academic, extracurricular, or professional environments.  

Previous internship, coop, or work experience—preferably with client facing or problem-solving responsibilities. 

Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively in fast paced consulting environments. 

Develop skills to communicate technical or complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. 

Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and delivery approaches quickly. 

Genuine interest in pursuing a career in technology consulting or business analysis after completing your undergraduate degree.
