Job Overview

We are seeking a young dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our luxury wig shop's retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional service, engaging with customers, and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales skills within a fast-paced retail environment, with responsibilities spanning customer interaction, product demonstrations, and merchandising. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued to enhance our diverse customer service team.

Responsibilities

  • MUST BE AVAILABLE: Mon-Friday 5pm-7pm & Saturday from 10am-7pm
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits effectively
  • Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product placement
  • Utilize strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions and new products
  • Demonstrate time management skills to ensure efficient store operations during shifts
  • Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries via phone or online channels

Skills

  • Must have knowledge on wigs and hair and hair products
  • Must have sales experience
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities (English required) to serve a diverse customer base effectively
  • Experience in retail sales, technology sales, or related fields is preferred
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and basic math for transactions
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform product demos confidently and persuasively
  • Merchandising skills to create attractive displays that drive sales
  • Cashiering experience including cash handling and transaction processing
  • Organizational skills for managing stock levels and store presentation
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
  • Phone etiquette for professional communication with customers over the phone or online

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 per week
