Lyons Timber Mart is currently seeking a Part-Time Cashier to join our team. You will work out of our 43 Black Road Timber Mart location.

The ideal candidate will find excitement in joining a team which provides customers with quality products, expert advice, and exceptional service.

** Weekday, evening, and weekend availability is a must

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet all customers in a warm and welcoming, professional manner
  • Process payments and refunds, issue receipts accurately
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately
  • Learn and cover Gatehouse responsibilities
  • Assist with putting stock away
  • Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Cash experience in hardware or building material retail setting is an asset, however not mandatory
  • Willingness to take initiative in getting tasks completed
  • Friendly, courteous and helpful
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Proficient with computers; including MS Office
