Overview

We are seeking a Shopify expert and retail associate who can assist us with our growing on line store and offer support to the design team in store and in the warehouse.

The successful candidate MUST HAVE mastery of shopify basics as well as a solid understanding of advanced marketing and editing tools on the platform.

In addition to Shopify assistance, our candidate will be jumping in where needed in retail - merchandising, receiving stock, basic store upkeep and supporting the design team as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product inventory levels
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and organizing merchandise
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment

Skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
  • Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technology sales preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems and Shopify a must
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in product displays and stock management
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
  • Phone etiquette skills for professional customer interactions over the phone
  • Ability to upsell products tactfully to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales goals

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$24.39 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 30 per week
