We're currently hiring a Production Laborer to support day-to-day operations in our newest facility. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in manufacturing while working in a collaborative and safety-first environment.

Location: 81 Folsetter Dr, Paris, ON N3L 0E2

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with upstream and downstream process workers on material requirements and timing for assigned station.
  • Coordinate product dimensions and specifications with the cutter.
  • Ensure products are correctly identified as per customer's requirements.
  • Ensure all EPS scrap is segregated properly as per specifications.
  • Communicate any related products and machine issues to the Production Lead.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and moving EPS blocks and finished products if necessary.
  • Responsible for packing finished products and labeling as per standard specifications.
  • Identify and ensure defective products are separated.
  • Ensure proper quality and quantities of packaging of products as specified.
  • Complete all production forms and reports.
  • Transport materials between raw goods and semi-finished goods to various processing centers.
  • Actively participate in equipment maintenance monitoring where required.
  • Perform operational maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operation.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely.

What You Bring

  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production issues
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Basic math skills
  • Understanding of QMS (Quality Management System) as it applies to the role
  • Forklift license considered an asset
