Shop Helper position available at our shop in downtown Nanaimo. Located in a busy repair environment, this role is vital to supporting our technicians and ensuring smooth daily operations. Join us to be part of a team that values hard work and dedication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist mechanics with vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Operate forklifts, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support inventory management and warehouse organization.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
  • Washing vehicles
  • Contribute to team efforts to meet repair deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to safety procedures.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and teamwork.
  • Class 5 license
