This position is essential to delivering the high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction that Avenir Energy is known for.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation and Maintenance: Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs for propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers in both residential and commercial settings.Propane Hook-Ups: Complete safe and accurate propane hook-ups for a variety of systems.Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative duties including ordering parts, completing work orders, invoicing, and assisting with shop-related activities.Other Duties: Support other operational and service tasks as required to meet team and customer needs.Qualifications and SkillsCertification: Gasfitter II certification required. A liquid propane endorsement is an asset, or a willingness to attain certification.Equipment Knowledge: Crane ticket and experience operating a boom truck are assets.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CSA B149 Gas Codes and their application.Licensing: Minimum Class 5 driver's license required.Mechanical Aptitude: Strong technical and mechanical skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Willingness to Learn: Openness to ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.
