Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada Altea Healthcare Full time

Job Title:
Financial Strategy Analyst

Company:
Aarista LLC

Location:
Burnaby, BC (Hybrid)

About Aarista:

Aarista is a U.S.-based healthcare technology company with over 700 employees across the U.S., Canada, and Vietnam. With our proprietary technology platform, we are transforming the post-acute care experience in the U.S. by empowering medical providers with real-time, actionable insights that improve patient outcomes and reduce the overall cost of care. Our mission is to extend patient care beyond hospital walls, enhance clinical outcomes, and drive meaningful change in the post-acute care industry.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-performing Financial Strategy Analyst with strong financial acumen and transaction exposure. The primary accountability of this role is to strengthen the production and transaction execution layer within the Strategic Finance team. You will play a hands-on role in the execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's governance, reporting, and capital oversight infrastructure. This role goes beyond administrative support, requiring analytical judgment, accountability for recurring processes, and the ability to proactively identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities across equity, debt, and statutory domains. You will work closely with senior finance leadership as a trusted execution partner, ensuring that complex financial, governance, and lender-facing processes are accurate, audit-ready, and scalable. This role is well suited for an analyst seeking exposure to intercompany strategy, capital structure management, and corporate governance—not just financial modeling.

Primary Responsibilities:

Transaction & Execution Support

  • Support financing and refinancing transactions, including data preparation, tracker updates, and documentation support
  • Assist with capital-raising execution, lender requests, and transaction-related analyses
  • Maintain accurate transaction logs and supporting schedules

Analytical Production & Tracking

  • Own day-to-day production of financial project trackers (e.g., borrowing base, equity/ESOP trackers)
  • Prepare recurring reports and supporting analyses for management, board, and lender reporting
  • Ensure timely updates, version control, and data integrity across all assigned projects

Equity Governance & Reporting Support

  • Support ESOP administration activities, including grant tracking, terminations, exercises, and employee inquiries
  • Assist with capitalization table updates and reconciliation, under guidance
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits, valuations, and internal reviews
  • Assist with recurring and ad hoc reporting requirements

Process & Template Support

  • Execute against established templates and workflows with consistency and accuracy
  • Flag data issues, inconsistencies, or execution risks early for escalation
  • Contribute to the refinement of recurring templates and trackers as processes mature

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in: Corporate banking, investment banking, consulting, or transaction advisory services
    OR
strong internship experience in a bank or transaction-focused environment with full-time analyst exposure
  • Strong Excel proficiency and comfort working with financial models, trackers, and transaction schedules
  • High attention to detail and strong execution discipline to manage workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting: Financing or capital-raising transactions
  • Capital tables and equity governance processes
  • Credit facilities, covenant tracking, or lender reporting
  • Comfort operating in high-growth environments

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $65,000–$80,000 CAD
  • Extended health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Participation in Aarista's Employee Stock Option Plan
  • Hybrid work arrangement (one day remote per week)
  • Paid time off
