This position is available as a work from home option for our Richland Logistics Inc. division. We are an open deck carrier based in Winkler, MB and looking to expand our customer base all across Canada. We are looking for an experienced, full-time sales representative with a solid background in the open deck transportation Industry with minimum of 2 years experience and client list. This position will be responsible for building customer relationships to add to our existing operation. Base salary with commission is negotiable and will be depend on previous experience in the industry.

Overview & Responsibilities not limited to:

  • Generate new business through cold calling
  • Find and identify opportunities to grow business
  • Drive profit (margin) through effective negotiation
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
  • Always work to understand the client's needs and identify the best freight solution
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • Must have a practical understanding of open deck transportation, FTL, LTL and Oversize freight.
  • Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems
  • Understand and support the goals, policies and procedures of Richland Transport Inc.
  • Broker loads to external RT approved Carriers
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information
