Established in 1973 and incorporated in 1974, D.G. Biddle & Associates Limited provides Consulting Engineering services in Southern Ontario, mainly in the Durham Region and surrounding area. The company has a staff of approximately 45, including Professional Engineers, Planners, Technicians, Administrative and Field Personnel providing Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services to both private and public clients.

Role Summary:

We currently have an immediate opening for a Construction Surveyor:

  • Completion of pre-engineering topographic surveys.
  • Construction layout of rough grading, underground services, roadwork, stormwater management facilities, final grading.
  • Preparation of grade sheets
  • Willingness to work outside all year round.
  • The applicant possesses extensive field survey skills.
  • The applicant has experience working with Trimble TSC3 data collector and Trimble S6 Total Station
  • The applicant possesses a valid G License and has their own vehicle for transportation.

In addition to the above, successful applicants shall also:

  • Willingness to work long days and be present on-site while Contractor working. Willingness to work certain Saturdays.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members.
  • Possess post-secondary education in the field of surveying.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
