We're looking for a thoughtful, hospitality-driven leader to join our team as General Manager at La Palma, a restaurant in the heart of Trinity Bellwoods known for its warm, laid-back energy, refined service, and Italian-inspired menu with a Californian twist.

As General Manager, you'll oversee the full restaurant operation while setting the tone for a warm, consistent, and well-run dining room.

Who You Are
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Highly organized, with confidence in scheduling, labour management, and cost controls
  • Comfortable using OpenTable, Navi, and TripleSeat (or similar systems)
What You'll Do
  • Lead daily restaurant operations with a strong, visible leadership presence
  • Set and uphold service standards that reflect La Palma's style and hospitality
  • Hire, train, and support front-of-house leaders and service teams
  • Oversee scheduling, labour planning, and operational performance
  • Partner closely with the culinary and events teams, managing reservations, group bookings, and guest feedback to ensure seamless service and exceptional experiences
