SCOPE OF THE JOB

As a new and cutting-edge electric automobile brand in North America, we are looking for high caliber Automotive Service Technicians. In this role, your expertise will be relied upon to diagnose and perform a wide range of automotive service and mechanical repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Ability to effectively diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive service, mechanical, electrical, and software issues
  • Promptly and efficiently perform all necessary work as stated in work orders
  • Frequently communicate with Service staff on all work required to ensure alignment on timelines and expectations
  • Obtain parts from parts department and return parts as required
  • Escalate and clearly communicate all difficult repairs to the Lead Technician to ensure prompt solutions
  • Maintain consistent understanding and compliance with VinFast policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all safety and security regulations in the workplace
  • Constant learning and upgrading of knowledge base via VinFast training and courses
  • Ability, at times, to discuss issues with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy
  • Other related duties as required

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, previous experience with an electric automobile brand preferred
  • Valid 310S License (or equivalent)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract/record
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle components, past Electric Vehicle experience an asset
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics and understanding of wiring diagrams
  • Flexibility to work retail business hours, including Saturdays
