We are seeking an experienced P&C Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster with a strong background in the transportation and commercial auto sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of bodily injury claims arising from commercial vehicle incidents, ensuring claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve bodily injury claims arising from commercial auto and transportation-related incidents.
  • Conduct detailed interviews with claimants, insured parties, witnesses, and other involved stakeholders.
  • Review police reports, medical records, statements, and other documentation to determine liability and claim value.
  • Manage a portfolio of complex and moderate-to-severe bodily injury claims while ensuring timely and accurate claim handling.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel, medical professionals, accident reconstruction specialists, and transportation partners as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with insured clients, brokers, and internal teams to provide updates and maintain strong customer service.
  • Assess coverage under applicable P&C insurance policies and make informed recommendations regarding settlements and reserves.
  • Negotiate settlements in compliance with company guidelines, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate claim files, documentation, and system updates in accordance with internal standards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and transportation-specific regulations
