Your personal commitment to safety will help us achieve our goal of zero harm within our operation and for our clients.

  • You will provide clients with engineering support to meet their needs and incorporate client suggestions for future requirements in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This position is intended to be client facing and includes attending client meetings, which may at times be remote, as well as corresponding directly with the client.
  • You will regularly interface with other disciplines and departments to execute projects.
  • Part-time office presence is a requirement
  • You will be responsible for the review and analysis of drawings for possible safety and constructability problems prior to issuance to clients.

As a member of the electrical/automation team, your primary duties will include:

  • Power system design and analysis in accordance with applicable codes for surface and underground mining operations.
  • Incorporation of innovation, optimization, and standardization in designs as appropriate considering constructability and economics.
  • Completion of fit-for-purpose designs that meet the client's needs and requests.
  • Preparation of quality reports and calculation packages as project deliverables.
  • Development and completion of power systems analysis models using ETAP, EasyPower and/or SKM.
