What You'll Do
Shape the Future of Manufacturing
- Lead the integration of digital twin technology and advanced manufacturing processes
- Drive our transition to environmentally sustainable low-GWP refrigerants
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Explore and implement innovative materials, methods, and technologies
Bridge Engineering and Production
- Develop comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production documentation that set teams up for success
- Create detailed technical data sheets, production packages, and rating labels
- Design custom configurations and special options tailored to client specifications
- Provide expert technical guidance to engineering, sales, and production teams
Ensure Excellence and Compliance
- Maintain product certifications and coordinate with third-party agencies (ETL files, energy efficiency ratings)
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards (ASHRAE, CEC, NEC, OHSA, CSA B52)
- Oversee electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Track and report energy efficiency performance for Canadian and US markets
Leverage Technology and Data
- Manage product information in MRP/CPQ systems with precision and accuracy
- Work with AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support mechanical and electrical design updates
- Collaborate with IT and engineering to maintain critical databases and selection tools
Mentor and Lead
- Share your expertise through training and knowledge transfer initiatives
- Review technical deliverables for accuracy, feasibility, and real-world application
- Report project progress to senior leadership and drive initiatives forward
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering (P.Eng. or eligibility is a plus)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in equipment manufacturing, HVAC, or related industries within Canada
- Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and refrigeration systems
- Practical experience with electrical controls, PLCs, and HVAC system integration
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office Suite
- Experience with ERP/MRP and CPQ systems
