Young's Pharmacy and Homecare is hiring a part-time Retail Supervisor to join our busy Front Store Team. Job Description:

Provide excellent customer service, engages and interacts positively with all customers and team members

Support Store Management with operational functions to ensure customer satisfaction, maximum productivity and profitability, and compliance with company procedures

Opening and Closing duties such as sales reconciliation and cash management

Acts as Supervisor on Duty overseeing sales associates during evening/weekend, ensuring completion of tasks, leading and modeling sales and service expectations

Support Homecare and Dispensary as needed with special orders and outgoing deliveries.

Proactively ensures Loss Prevention measures are being followed

Follow safe work procedures and Health and Safety requirements, prepare incident reports and work with Management to identify and eliminate hazards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years key-holder experience in a high-volume retail setting

  • Available 2 evenings a week and 1-2 weekends a month

  • Sales-driven, communicates effectively about promotions to achieve sales targets

  • Able to multi-task, manages time effectively

  • POS experience, proficient computer skills

  • Experience in receiving, inventory management an asset

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Education:

  • Secondary School (required)

Experience:

  • Retail management: 2 years (preferred)
