Key Responsibilities.

  • Transport deck freight across Canada and the U.S. in accordance with company and customer requirements
  • Secure loads safely, including tarping, chaining, and tying down as required
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and loads meet safety standards
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and load documentation
  • Comply with all safety regulations including hours of service, occupational health and safety, and cross-border requirements
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding routes, scheduling, and safety concerns
  • Represent Q-Line professionally at customer sites and border crossings
  • Support yard operations as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Bring.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Class 1A or Commercial Driver's License
  • Minimum two years of long-haul or cross-border driving experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of transportation safety and regulatory requirements
  • Proven reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to lift, secure, and tarp loads as required
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role
