Jiffy Auto Service is currently seeking a new full-time Licensed Class A Automotive Technician to join our staff at our Cornwall, ON location.

Licensed Class A Automotive Technicians perform a variety of tasks in the diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of customer vehicles. Licensed Class A Automotive Technicians hold a crucial position in our shop as they interact with customers on a daily basis and are essential in providing exceptional customer service.

As a member of our staff the Licensed Class A Automotive Technician will:

  • Conduct general and major repair work on motor vehicles
  • Diagnose the source of problems and determine the extent of repairs required
  • Inspect, adjust and replace necessary parts
  • Conduct vehicle road tests to locate defects in operation

We are looking for a candidate that has a strong work ethic, strong diagnostic skills, in addition to:

  • Must be a licensed class A automotive technician (310S)
  • Air Conditioning Certification (an asset)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a team-based environment
  • Confidence and aptitude to operate independently in a supervised capacity
  • Adaptability and demonstrated readiness to succeed in assigned tasks
  • Demonstrated skill in auto repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of various types of automotive related products
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment
  • Own Tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Electronic and emission diagnostic
  • Valid Driver's license (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience (an asset)
