Duties

• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments tailored to client preferences.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure client safety.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly atmosphere, addressing client needs, and ensuring their comfort during visits.
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently.
• Upsell additional services or products when appropriate to maximize client satisfaction and business growth.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a salon environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting.
• Ability to upsell products and services tactfully while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
