Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily pharmacy operations and ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prescriptions.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for medications and supplies as needed.
- Support the intake process by gathering patient information and verifying prescription details.
- Document medication dispensing accurately in patient records.
Requirements
- Previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Kroll computer system knowledge is an asset.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail.
