GHD's Western CanadaWater Group is looking for an experienced
Integrated Water Management Engineer
to join our
Vancouver, BC
office.

This position will provide the opportunity to join our innovative, supportive, and dynamic water group. You will be working on a variety of infrastructure projects for both public and private clients including water and wastewater pumping station design, water and wastewater treatment design, water, stormwater and sanitary system hydraulic modeling, pipeline design, asset management, infrastructure inspections and assessments, and construction administration and inspection.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Manage medium and large-scale integrated watershed and infrastructure planning/design projects
  • Lead and mentor a team of graduates and EITs
  • Develop winning strategies and proposals
  • Continue to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and planning methods
  • Provide technical guidance to the project team and review work completed by other team members

What you will bring to the team:

  • P.Eng
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Modelling and Planning Experience for sewers and Green Infrastructure
  • Proficient and experienced with SWMM-based modelling software (InfoWorks ICM/PCSWMM)
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Scripting and Programming Knowledge (Python/Ruby) is an asset
  • Design experience with sewers and Green Infrastructure is an asset
  • Stakeholder engagement experience will be valuable
  • Experience with combined sewer overflow (CSO) management and reduction will be valuable
