Position Summary:

We're seeking Software Engineer Interns for our summer internship program. Reporting to a Senior Technology Manager, in this role you will help develop and enhance the world's largest retail network with modern cloud-based solutions, supporting retail supply chains with reliable, secure, and SaaS capabilities. If you enjoy creative problem-solving, innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and possess a strong customer focus, this role could be an excellent fit for you

Our interns will work in our Engineering organizations shown below:

  • Platform Engineering: Engineer and operate common/shared platform services, APIs and data. Service teams include Data Acquisition, Core Data Services, Data Processing and Developer Experience.
  • Product Engineering: Create and operate customer-facing products, applications, services, APIs, and data, alongside service teams with a goal of enhancing the customer experience for Retailers and Suppliers.
  • Corporate Systems: Maintain software integrations for foundational business tools with a focus on financial control and accounting, in addition to supporting internal customers across various departments to ensure smooth company operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in your team's agile ceremonies, including daily standups and planning sessions.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and operate your code to production using modern technologies and practices.
  • Share your excitement and ideas about new technology and bring your whole self to work, be who you are.

Required Qualifications:

  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Computer Science degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework or experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, React and databases preferred
