We are seeking a Grant Program Coordinator to help deliver programs that focus on minimizing resource wastage and optimizing farm efficiency. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a related degree who are passionate about supporting producers (farmers and ranchers) and advancing agri-environmental outcomes. As part of the Agri-Environmental Initiatives Section, your key responsibilities will be:Grant Program Delivery: Assist producers with the grant application process and respond to general program inquiries.Review applications for eligibility and completeness.Verify claimed expenses, invoices, and payment documentation.Monitor budgets and track grant expenditures.Evaluation and Reporting: Support budget forecasting and performance tracking.Collect and report data on program outcomes.Maintain organized records to support program reviews and improvements.Process Improvement and Program Enhancement: Recommend and implement improvements to grant delivery processes.Contribute to the development of new and enhanced programs.Cross-Team Collaboration: Provide input into Branch and Ministry initiatives and reports.Work with internal teams to ensure effective program delivery.Problem-Solving Challenges: Interpreting and applying program eligibility criteria to diverse agricultural projects.Managing multiple tasks and deadlines.Resolving applicant concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.PleaseAPS CompetenciesCompetencies are behaviors that are essential to reach our goals in serving Albertans.
