We are looking to hire Yard Loader Operator/Labourer, to be based in Slave Lake, AB.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Load gravel and customer trucks, including block loading operations

  • Fill gravel and sandbags and maintain adequate inventory levels

  • Perform concrete drum chipping and assist with block mould pours and removal

  • Load and remove snow as required

  • Maintain aggregate piles and concrete aggregate inventory

  • Conduct inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies

  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Must be Physically fit to perform manual labour and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • A valid Class 5 or 3 driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required.

  • Ability to work overtime, as needed.
