We are seeking a Red Seal Certified Millwright to join our team  Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will be part of the maintenance team within our manufacturing facility. This is a unionized position and is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement between Interior Forest Labour Relations Association and the United Steelworkers.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, and perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery
  • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings
  • Utilize knowledge and skills to recognize opportunities for improvements and savings

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Red Seal certification with 5+ years of experience
  • Commitment to safe work guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and mechanical machinery
  • Ability to work individually with little or no supervision in a dynamic team environment
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • A problem solver with strong decision making skills
  • Previous experience with wood products manufacturing
  • Must have the ability to do shift work

WAGE:  $50.115 per hour as per the current United Steelworkers Collective Agreement.
