Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate process simulations for gas processing units
  • Generate and maintain PFDs and P&IDs throughout project phases
  • Perform sizing and performance evaluations for major equipment
  • Design tower layouts, tray configurations, and tank sizing
  • Update P&IDs based on calculations and vendor data
  • Interpret and apply engineering specifications for compliance
  • Coordinate technical requirements with vendors and other disciplines
  • Contribute to project documentation including datasheets and manuals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Eligible for or registered as a P.Eng. with APEGA (or equivalent)
  • 3–10 years of experience in gas processing or modular plant design
  • Proficiency in simulation tools (Symmetry, Aspen HYSYS, Promax)
  • Strong knowledge of equipment performance curves and design codes
  • Experience developing PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets
  • Familiarity with Canadian industry standards (CSA, ASME)
  • Effective coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams
