Our Bilingualism Requirements

On Call Centre is looking for candidates who are fully fluent in both official languages (French and English) and MUST:

• Demonstrate equivalent strength in written and oral skills in both languages.
• Be able to read scripts and messages to callers in either language or translate them live if needed.
• Write detailed messages and reports in both languages using proper grammar and spelling.

Please note: there is no dedicated queue for each language. All candidates must be prepared to speak and write in either language on every call.

If selected for an interview, a language proficiency and translation test will be administered.

Job Description

This is a temporary full-time position offering approximately 30–40 hours per week for an expected period of 2–3 months.

The duration may be extended or shortened depending on business needs.

Who We Are and What We Do

On Call Centre is an inbound message centre open 24/7/365 — there are no sales or marketing calls.

Our agents handle calls for clients across multiple industries (trades, real estate, property management, etc.), taking and dispatching messages following defined scripts and call-out protocols.

Strong fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is REQUIRED.

Compensation

$19.00 per hour

If you work more than 3 months on this campaign, you will receive a staying bonus of $100 per month worked, to a maximum of $500.

• Have 2+ years of customer service experience (call centre preferred)
• Demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality
• Are detail-oriented, empathetic, and focused on quality

Sommaire du poste

On Call Centre est un centre d'appel recevant des appels entrants 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7, 365 jours par année.

Aucune vente ni marketing — seulement du service à la clientèle.

Nos agents répondent aux appels de clients provenant de divers secteurs (métiers, immobilier, gestion de propriétés, etc.) et rédigent des messages selon des scripts et protocoles définis.

Ce poste temporaire à temps plein offre environ 30 à 40 heures par semaine pour une période d'environ 2 à 3 mois, avec possibilité de prolongation ou de fin anticipée selon les besoins.

Rémunération

19,00 $ par heure

Si vous travaillez plus de 3 mois sur cette campagne, vous recevrez une prime de rétention de 100 $ par mois travaillé, jusqu'à un maximum de 500 $.

Profil recherché

• Contrôle de police actuel/valide
• Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en service à la clientèle (centre d'appels un atout)
• Excellente ponctualité et assiduité
• Patience, empathie et souci du détail
• Motivation à apprendre et à s'améliorer
• Capacité à travailler sur place au bureau d'Ottawa
