Compensation: Pay per Package ($1.20)

Responsibilities:

As a Sub-Contractor/Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Timely and Accurate Deliveries: Picking up packages from designated locations and delivering them to various addresses within the Winnipeg area, adhering to established timelines and routes.
• Route Optimization: Planning and executing efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery targets.
• Package Handling: Safely loading, unloading, and securing packages to prevent damage during transit.
• Customer Service: Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers during deliveries.
• Documentation: Accurately completing all necessary delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and any incident reports.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring your own vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working order for daily deliveries.
• Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with M.P. Group dispatch and management.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 G (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 6 month experience in package delivery.
• Clean Criminal background and driver abstract. (required before joining)
• Ability to lift and carry packages of various weights and sizes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong geographical knowledge of Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior delivery experience is an asset but not required.
• Must be legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in Canada.
