The opportunity:
As an Accounts Receivable and Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices while maintaining positive relationships with clients. Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager, your primary objective will be to support the company's cash flow by executing AR-related processes, identifying outstanding receivables, and resolving billing issues efficiently and professionally
We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and able to work independently. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities: Execute AR-related processes accurately and on time, including account analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries. Identify overdue accounts and contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments. Resolve billing discrepancies and customer credit issues; encourage and facilitate timely payments. Generate monthly AR reports and assist with account reconciliations. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Support, Finance) to resolve issues and respond promptly to inquiries. Contribute to the development and improvement of AR policies, procedures, and internal controls. Assist with financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, and collections. Strong understanding of billing procedures and collection techniques. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills. Comfortable working in a target-driven environment. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills. Experience in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce is a strong asset. Experience in the SaaS (Software as a Service) industry is preferred.
