Your role, your impact

As a UI and design system expert, you'll define and maintain a consistent approach to user interface design, while ensuring visual consistency across products. You'll manage a centralized design system, collaborate with internal teams and implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure innovation, quality and the adoption of best practices.

Your day-to-day

UI design evolution:

• Develop and maintain a consistent and innovative vision for the user interface of products;
• Design intuitive and attractive user interfaces in line with user needs and business objectives;
• Collaborate with product, UX and development teams to integrate designs seamlessly and efficiently.

Design system management:

• Create, develop and maintain the company's design system, including UI components, styles, guidelines and design standards;
• Ensure the harmonization of design elements across all products and platforms;
• Prioritize and coordinate the development of new components or evolutions of design system components with front-end developers;
• Document the design system in a clear and accessible manner for design and development teams;
• Ensure effective and clear communication regarding updates and evolutions of the design system to internal teams.

Innovation and continuous improvement:

• Monitor current trends in UI/UX design and design tools to propose improvements and innovations in the design system;
• Conduct regular audits of the design system to identify opportunities for optimization and evolution;
• Mentor and coach UI designers and team members on best practices in UI and use of the design system;
• Organize training sessions and workshops to promote adoption and understanding of the design system within the company.

Keys to your success

• Minimum 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with significant experience in managing and developing design systems;
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma) as well as web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end development principles;
• Ability to maintain a vision and manage a roadmap;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Strong ability to influence and work in a team;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.

Extra edge

• Experience in the telecommunications sector.

Language skills

• French: Proficient
• English: Advanced

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, an advanced level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a frequent basis with clients outside of Quebec.
