Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control and quality assurance across all production processes. This role involves analyzing data, developing quality management systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and operational efficiency. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and assurance procedures to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections and audits throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations.
- Analyze inspection data and manufacturing metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for non-conformances.
- Support new product development projects by providing quality input during design reviews and process validation.
- Maintain documentation related to quality management systems, inspection reports, and compliance records.
- Facilitate training sessions on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices for staff.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product quality, reducing waste, and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control, quality assurance, or quality management systems.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
- Hands-on experience with QA/QC procedures, quality inspection, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100 is preferred.
- Project management skills are advantageous for leading improvement initiatives and cross-departmental collaborations.
