Role Description

We are looking for a self-motivated Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) who is eager to learn and participate in various roles. The candidate will have opportunities to get involved in many different tasks including:

  • Automation cabinet design and electrical schematic drawings (AutoCAD Electrical)
  • Distribution design, single line diagrams, and layout drawings (AutoCAD)
  • Electrical construction estimating and quoting
  • Project management / coordination
  • Site visits to determine existing conditions, develop scope of work and to review electrical installations
  • Engineering design and electrical code review
  • Development of documentation standards and operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 1 - 3 years experience
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical experience is an asset
  • Industrial automation (PLC / HMI) experience is an asset
  • Project management experience is as asset
  • Knowledge of Electrical Code is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
