Reporting to the Meat Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, brand and focus on safety.
  • Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Clean and sanitize meat department equipment, including slicers, grinders, saws, tables, and knives.
  • Wash and disinfect floors, drains, walls and work surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness of coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
  • Follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices.
  • Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow First in first out (FIFO).
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
