Job Title: Landscaping Labourer

Location: North end of Guelph

Job Type: Seasonal/ Full time

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our landscaping team as a Landscaping Labourer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and is looking for a rewarding and dynamic job with a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various landscaping tasks, including but not limited to lawn maintenance, planting, weeding, mulching, and general landscaping duties.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Work collaboratively with the landscaping team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
  • Lift and carry heavy loads, up to 50lbs, as part of daily job requirements.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Manage/ lead a crew of 2-3 people
  • Report / communicate with management and clients
  • Keep project timelines/ on budget

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Enjoyment of outdoor work and physical activities.
  • Landscaping experience is ideal but not necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • AR licence is an asset
  • Have experience in a leadership role 2-3 years
