Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide menus, and answer any questions about the menu offerings.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted clearly.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, bus tables efficiently, and assist with food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders, maintaining communication for special dietary needs or modifications.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems including cash handling and cashiering duties, and provide correct change.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Support team members during busy hours by assisting with host/host duties or bussing tables as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols within the food industry.
• Previous restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate bill processing.
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
