We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. Prior experience in dental or medical office environments is highly preferred to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient service.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
  • Verify patient insurance information and update records accordingly
  • Prepare and maintain patient charts using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and Epic
  • Collect payments, co-pays, and process billing transactions accurately
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and follow-up visits
  • Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming
  • Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and clinic operations

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and Epic
  • Familiarity with office equipment including multi-line phone systems, computers, and office software
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills—both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and administrative best practices
