Job Overview

We are a growing boutique law firm in Vaughan seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, with the ability to provide sound legal advice and communicate with clients. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, research, and writing skills, as well as proficiency in legal drafting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advise and representation in various areas of law, including but not limited to Family, Wills & Estates, Employment, Corporate Commercial and Civil Litigation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as CanLII and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal processes and options available to them.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of practicing law in the province of Ontario.
  • A member in good standing with the LSO.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and statutes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and communication.

Salary

  • Commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,489.36-$190,048.14 per year
