Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient care. A passion for working with patients of all ages, particularly children, is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Tracker software.
  • Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary support and ensuring a sterile environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and answering questions regarding treatments.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for building rapport with patients and ensuring their comfort during visits.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
