Course Description: Theories about the variety and nature of religious experience, personal and collective. How religious life is expressed in such forms as myth, narrative and ritual, systems of belief and value, morality and social institutions. 24L/12T

Hours of Work: Fridays, 9:00-3:00 (ONLINE)
Sessional Dates of Appointment: January 1, April 30, 2026
Salary: $54.27 per hour

Qualifications: Applicants should have a completed PhD or (for non- U. of T. graduate students) equivalent, with major field in the relevant topic area.
Demonstrated effectiveness as a teaching assistant, academic qualifications in the subject, ability to introduce students to a diverse range of approaches, and suitability for the position.
Description of Duties: Duties may include the teaching of small tutorial sections, marking of assignments, holding scheduled office hours and invigilation of exams; other duties as determined by the supervisor.
