We have a full-time, permanent Commercial Solutions Specialist position available, working within Quebec. This is a remote position with significant travel expectations, reporting to the Sales Manager – Quebec & Eastern Canada.

The Commercial Solutions Specialist is responsible for driving growth within the province of Québec by supporting commercial user groups in their transition to battery-powered products. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and promoting sustainable solutions tailored to the needs of professional users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Sales Development: Achieve growth by coordinating the sale of STIHL products between Professional Customers and Dealers.
  • Channel Expansion: Support other retail channels beyond traditional OPE, such as tool houses and hardware stores by providing training on new products, policies, and STIHL systems.
  • End Customer Support: Conduct training, field demonstrations, Dealer support, end-user safety, maintenance and application training
  • Product Promotion: Engage with large contractor groups (eg, Landscapers, municipalities, government agencies) to promote STIHL products.
  • Territory Managers: Partner with territory managers to collect leads and collaborate in field activities.
  • Industry Events & Brand Promotion: Identify and participate in regional tradeshows and industry- related events to promote the STIHL brand and strengthen market presence.
  • Tenders: Monitor industry tenders and liaise with dealer network to participate
  • Reporting: Submit regular field, travel, and internal reports.
  • Asset Management: Maintain corporate assets including vehicle, phone, computer, and demonstration equipment.
  • General Duties: All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Post Secondary Education in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of B2C sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of STIHL products.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience delivering product presentations and training sessions in group settings.
  • Familiarity with the Outdoor Power Equipment Industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Fully Bilingual both written and oral

FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS DU POSTE:

  • Développement des ventes : Assurer la croissance en coordonnant la vente des produits STIHL entre les clients professionnels et les concessionnaires.
  • Expansion des canaux : Soutenir d'autres canaux de vente au détail au-delà des OPE traditionnels, tels que les quincailleries et magasins d'outils, en offrant des formations sur les nouveaux produits, politiques et systèmes STIHL.
  • Support aux clients finaux : Offrir des formations, démonstrations sur le terrain, soutien aux concessionnaires, ainsi que des formations sur la sécurité, l'entretien et l'application des produits.
  • Promotion des produits : Interagir avec des groupes de grands entrepreneurs (ex. : paysagistes, municipalités, organismes gouvernementaux) pour promouvoir les produits STIHL.
  • Gestion des territoires : Collaborer avec les gestionnaires de territoire pour recueillir des pistes et participer aux activités sur le terrain.
  • Événements et promotion de la marque : Identifier et participer à des salons régionaux et événements liés à l'industrie pour promouvoir la marque STIHL et renforcer la présence sur le marché.
  • Appels d'offres : Surveiller les appels d'offres de l'industrie et collaborer avec le réseau de concessionnaires pour y participer.
  • Rapports : Soumettre des rapports réguliers sur les activités terrain, déplacements et internes.
  • Gestion des actifs : Maintenir les actifs corporatifs, incluant véhicule, téléphone, ordinateur et équipement de démonstration.
  • Autres tâches : Toutes autres tâches et responsabilités assignées.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES:

  • Formation postsecondaire en administration des affaires ou domaine connexe.
  • Minimum de cinq (5) années d'expérience en ventes B2C.
  • Connaissance approfondie des produits STIHL.
  • Maîtrise de MS Office et Microsoft Dynamics 365 ou plateformes CRM similaires.
  • Expérience dans la présentation de produits et la formation en groupe.
  • Familiarité avec l'industrie des équipements électriques pour l'extérieur (un atout).
  • Disponibilité pour travailler les fins de semaine.
  • Bilinguisme anglais et français (écrit et oral)
