Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent time management skills to efficiently complete cleaning tasks while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and industrial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment safely and effectively
  • Utilize facilities maintenance skills to address minor repairs or issues as needed
  • Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Manage cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments when necessary
  • Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or equipment
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility on a daily basis
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules or any concerns

Skills

  • Experience with custodial work, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for cleaning or minor repairs
  • Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction during interactions
  • Reliable work ethic with attention to detail in all cleaning activities

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.00-$23.15 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
