We're looking for a Software Engineering Manager who is passionate about leading and developing talented engineers while driving the delivery of high-quality, scalable software. You'll manage a team of full stack and backend engineers, foster technical excellence, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring innovative products to life. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Partner with product management, QA, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality software on time and within scope. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable applications and APIs built primarily in Java. Ensure engineering best practices across code quality, testing, security, and deployment. Drive sprint planning, resource allocation, and performance reviews for your team. Support career development by providing clear feedback, guidance, and growth opportunities. Contribute to technical strategy, architecture discussions, and long-term planning. Champion the use of modern DevOps tools, including Docker, to support efficient development and deployment. Identify process improvements to optimize team productivity and software quality. QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years of software development experience and 2 years in a leadership or management role. Proficiency in Java and familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot. Experience designing and delivering RESTful APIs and microservices. Working knowledge of Docker and modern CI/CD practices. Experience managing software projects in an Agile environment. Strong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and secure coding practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience managing full stack teams (frontend backend) preferred. Background in fintech, enterprise SaaS, or other regulated technology environments preferred. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure preferred. Why Join Supernova?
