Food & Beverage Director – Luxury Relais & Châteaux Property | Quebec

An outstanding opportunity awaits an accomplished Food & Beverage Director to join a prestigious Relais & Châteaux property in Quebec, celebrated for its world-class hospitality, refined service, and culinary excellence. This award-winning destination combines elegance, authenticity, and a deep commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.

As Food & Beverage Director, you will report directly to the General Manager and oversee all aspects of the property's food and beverage operations. This includes two full-service restaurants, room service, banquets and private events, and seasonal poolside dining. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with a passion for excellence, an eye for detail, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations with efficiency, creativity, and vision.
  • Direct a team of approximately 40 employees across restaurants, banquets, and room service.
  • Implement and maintain high service standards consistent with Relais & Châteaux philosophy and brand values.
  • Collaborate with culinary, marketing, and operations teams to create innovative dining experiences and special events.
  • Manage departmental budgets, financial forecasts, supplier relationships, and cost control.
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews and inventories to ensure accuracy and profitability.
  • Drive guest satisfaction through consistency, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain staff, fostering an engaged, motivated, and professional culture.
  • Actively handle guest feedback and continually refine service practices.
  • Participate in management meetings and strategic planning initiatives to support overall property performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in 
    English and French
     (both spoken and written).
  • Proven track record in fine dining, boutique hotels, or 
    Relais & Châteaux / Michelin / Forbes / AAA Five Diamond environments.
  • Minimum of 
    7 years' leadership experience
     in luxury or high-end Food & Beverage management.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Compensation & Benefits

    CAD $85,000 – $95,000
