Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated HVAC General Labourer to support our indoor air quality and HVAC service teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop practical skills in construction, mechanical systems, and property maintenance while contributing to improving indoor environments. You will assist with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across various HVAC systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties

  • Assist with maintenance of HVAC systems including filtration, air conditioning units, air-Handling units, and ductwork.
  • Support service technicians by preparing work sites, handling tools, and managing materials efficiently.
  • Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate system setup and repairs.
  • Conduct equipment repairs using appropriate small hand and power tools.
  • Support residential and commercial activities including ventilation system maintenance i.e cleaning and general mechanical cleaning
  • Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during all field service operations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience or knowledge in construction, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), or mechanical trades is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with field service experience enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
  • Ability to operate basic small hand and power tools is a requirement.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license issued in Alberta with a clean driving record
  • Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy equipment and working in various environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
